I’m Kimberley…screen-shot-2016-10-20-at-20-02-55

I’m a twenty-something fashion & beauty addict who has a passion for travel and interior design. Based near the beautiful Somerset countryside, I live with my husband and am a servant to two mischievous house panthers.

I recently made the very hard decision to quit my job with nothing else to go to. Part of me was thinking “What the hell am I doing”, and the other part knew that in the long run it would be the best decision I ever made. I was right. Towards the end I was miserable, snappy, didn’t want to get out of bed in the morning and I found joy in very little. After some time away, I realise now that the stress and depression was worse than I thought, and for the first time in four years I actually feel normal. I feel like a human again, and it is the best feeling. Blogging is something I’ve always wanted to do, but working a full time job which sucked the life out of me got in the way of not just blogging, but actually enjoying life. Now I’m going to start…

There are so many beauty and skincare products out there – how do you know where to start? There seems to be so many different products out there for any type of skin problem you may have, but how do you know if they actually work? I’ve read so many great reviews about skincare products, become so excited thinking I’ve finally found the answer to my prayers, only to be disappointed when the recommended product isn’t right for me. Skincare reviews are a tricky thing, as no face, no skin type will be exactly the same. After struggling for years to find the right skincare routine, I decided to start this blog to document my search and my thoughts of each product I try.

People always laugh at me when I say things like “shoes don’t suit me”, or “that makes me look like I’ve died”, so my aim here is to provide reviews and tips about trying to find clothes which actually compliment you, fashions to love and will be proud to display in your wardrobe.

Wherever I go, I always seem to be lusting after a lamp, or a vase, or that chair that would look perfect in a huge, luxurious bathroom (that I don’t have). I always seem to be rearranging my house and buying new nicknacks to try and get the perfect Instagram-worthy home, so I’ll be sharing different ways to tidy, organise, and inspiration for those interior shopping trips.

I firmly believe that travel is the only thing you can buy which makes you richer.  I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s definitely on my list. On this blog I’ll be sharing reviews of the places I’ve been, what to see, where to eat, and tips to make your travels as easy as possible. My dream is to travel the world and someday I’d love to have a career doing just that.
