Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick

Don’t believe anyone who says you have too many lipsticks. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life.

Recently I bought (thank you Groupon) a set of four lipsticks from Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick range. It was a bit of a bargain, as they would normally set you back £7.99 each, but they were selling them for £7.99 for four. Well, it would have been rude not to.

On the ad it boasted:

  • Formula with a moisturising complex of Vitamin E and Avocado Oil
  • Conditions lips and ensures no tackiness
  • Non-irritating forum boosting hydration

So I’m quite looking forward to seeing how they perform.

The set I ordered consists of the shades Wine With Everything, Lover’s Coral, Love That Red, and Blushing Mauve.

Lover’s Coral

Lipstick Revlon Makeup Cosmetics Red Orange

I do really like this shade, but it’s not as vibrant as I thought it would be. It doesn’t really strike me as a coral, it’s a softer, more nude/pinky shade than I expected. It would be a great everyday lipstick though as it’s not too bright.

Blushing Mauve

I really love this! It might be my favourite out of the four, it’s not too in your face but it’s a lovely, natural looking colour. Glides on easily and actually lasts quite long for high street lipsticks.

Love That Red

Revlon Lipstick Makeup Cosmetics

This is such a classic look. Perfect for a night out where you want a more vamp-ish look to slay all over the shop. I was a bit scared this one was going to look too orange, but it’s just the right shade of red without looking too matte, either. Love it!

Wine With Everything

Revlon Lipstick Makeup Cosmetics dark red

I think this lipstick improves my outlook on life. Surely if I’m wearing a lipstick called ‘Wine With Everything’ then it’s naturally going to improve my decisions, right? I really like this colour, too. When I’m not in the mood for a bright red lip but it’s still bold enough of a pinky red to still have the same effect. It’s really moisturising, and I love that it’s kinda pearly, too.

Which is your favourite?
